In the down-to-earth dwelling, one window
- Publicité -
there is to look out of
to see the world as it really is, to know
first hand (without the glove!)
what it feels like in all its states
and in all its textures.
Then there are the fortified mansions
with glazed windows after glazed windows
and when the all-important aperture
is reached,
with light refracted, whatever
be the perspectives, they may not be as viewed.
Yet when that which is obvious is too blinding
a tinted outlook may prove comforting.
